Crazy Busy

Now that the imaginary pandemic is gone, my focus is on the crazy Christmas preparations. The creatures are overly excited, and school has, of course, added to that. The amount of chocolate currently in the house is unreal. I have managed to keep most of it under the tree and out of their, and my, mouths.

I have been at the mall. I have never had so many conversations with H with all the key words spelled out, but soon Z, in particular, will be able to decode the spelling. Her ability to recognize sight words grows daily. She asks for everything to be spelled out for her. Videos came from Santa, thanks to a link a friend sent me on Facebook.

Now we just have to figure out what will be happening on the actual day. Hopefully the evil one, my other sister, will not be in town on that particular day. If she isn't, then the creatures and me will spend most of the day at Nana's, while H visits with his other son. Then maybe his brother will have a late dinner in the evening.

I survived the office dinner. It was actually quite nice. We now have plans for all of us partners to see Avatar. I can't believe it. We discovered that we all wanted to see it, so we have decided to go together tomorrow night. We are too goofy. God knows the evil one would never do something like that. So unprofessional.....
