It's a Wrap

I finished the deed. All is wrapped and labeled. All the extra paper is away. My tree looks lovely surrounded by all the presents. The creatures are asleep. I didn't let them nap today, so they went to bed quite easily. My only outstanding job is to find a 9 volt battery somewhere. My brother has one at Nana's house, just in case. The remote tarantula will not work without one.

H is up in arms, as he has lost his cell phone. I really find it goofy. Here I am the one who may be called in an emergency, and he is worried about his cell. Most days I would be happy if I lost mine. I lent him mine, although I know if the roles were reversed I would not get his. He had best remember to look for the battery and to get me that big Mac. I know I shouldn't, but I crave one tonight. I cannot even remember the last time I had one, its been so long.

I never found the pumpkin pie I was told to bring to Nana's. They will have to settle with the caramel apple pie from Costco. I was told it is very good.

Disappointing news..McD's is closed already. I know that most people around here are nowhere near Christian, so that is nuts. Its a Thursday night and only 9:30. When do I get to take my Diwali or Eid day....I think I will join every denomination.
