Right To Play

I have developed ADHD. When I get home from HELLPIT, I turn on the tube and fire up the laptop at the same time. I find I cannot follow a whole TV show even if I try. I have no attention. I suppose its because I am farting around on Google or Blogger or whatever, but I really think the problem is the ads. Most are just mindless and distracting, but some are outright annoying. By the time the ad sequence is over, I forgot what the show was about, or if I had even seen it. The only show I can follow at all is the Amazing Race.

The most annoying ad lately is the Right to Play one. The concept is good, and I would not want to deny children the right to play. Perhaps its my tinnitus lately, but the singing on this ad is grating, and the song becomes one of those horrible worm ones that replay in your head. Its stuck there right now. And its on all the time it seems.

I also have some concerns with the whole Olympic thing anyway. I wonder if the money spent on all that hoopla shouldn't be given to some developing countries for food and medicine.....
