Sleep and snow

I am back at my favourite haunt for another two night getaway. I had trouble sleeping last night and today am fighting a migraine. It's peaceful with new snow. I was watching Olympics but now am reading Half the Sky. And to think I get unhappy with my life, when most women would love it.

Tuesday I played hookey from work and went toboganning with the creatures. It was their first time and I feel bad about that. Sometimes I wish I could stay home with them all the time. T loved tobogganning as much as they did. H won't take them as he hates cold. I find that I must initiate novel activities with the creatures and then sometimes he will take them. We shall see.

He has mentioned a Disney cruise and I hope to jump on that before he thinks of some excuse not to go. I know X in particular would love to go on vacation with daddy.

The creatures turn five next week so I must plan their day. I took the day off work and will spend it with them. They want to go to dinner at Montana's and wear moose hats.....
