Moose, bunnies, and spiders

It was the creatures' birthday last week. We went to the Science Centre and then Montanas. The moose hat was waiting. Z was so pleased, but I felt a little bad that X didn't get his own hat. They had tried to borrow another one, but I guess it didn't work out. He had to wear it after his sister, but I was proud that he didn't sulk at all. He was so pleased to get the Transformer helmet, and he loved the tornado at the SC so maybe that was fine for him. Z got a stroller and swing for her dolls, but she tries to ride on the back of the stroller and she has been told she will break it....I wonder how long it will last.

They also got a spider vacuum from T. They found a wolf spider, and Uncle C has put it in with his crickets. It has been very happy munching on them. C has crickets for his lizard. He is always interesting to visit. He got them a Kerplunk game that I am now addicted to. X loves it and is giving me  good competition.

Yesterday morning I was awakened by Z telling me that there were Easter bunnies outside. I thought she was dreaming or hallucinating until I dragged myself to their bedroom window, only to see four little brown rabbits cavorting in our backyard. The creatures were fascinated. I think they were mating. So we may have baby brown bunnies in our backyard soon. Z liked their little tails. Obviously a sign of spring, and the weather has been very warm. In fact, the whole winter has been warm. I didn't pull out my sheepskin at all, and have been wearing a sweater to work. No fleece this year. Odd, but I have missed it a bit. When I was young I remember not being able to open the front door because of the snow.

HELLPIT has been HELLPIT.....and I have been putting time in getting papers ready for taxes. Ugh.
